About the idea

The project entails setting up boxes for disposing used hypodermic needles in selected spots in Breiðholt.

Hafandi gengið fram á nokkrar notaðar sprautunálar í Bökkunum síðustu daga tel ég það þarft að setja upp nálabox á valda staði. Fólk sem notar vímuefni í æð getur því miður ekki alltaf notað efnin inni við og kemst ekki alltaf í nálaskiptiþjónustu. Með því að setja upp nálabox á valda staði (til dæmis grenndarstöðvar og leikvelli) veitum við fólki sem notar vímuefni í æð öruggan stað til þess að farga áhöldum og þannig gerum við hverfið okkar öruggara.
